Students of Cathedral and John Connon Junior School participated in a poetry event ‘100 Thousand Poets for Change’ organised in association with Kitab Khana. The topic for this year was: ‘Love is a many-splendoured thing’. Out of many entries from eminent schools of Mumbai, five students from Cathedral school were chosen including three students from the Junior school for the final event held online on 20th, Sept 2020. The poems were curated by the event organisers Ms Menka Shivdasani, Ms Rati Dady Wadia and Ms Katie Bagli. Chief Guest for the final event was Dr. Paramita Mukherjee Mullick.
Beautiful rendition of poems by our students Agastya Kapadia(2M) Dia Bhandari (2K) and Myrah Kapadia amidst other performances illuminated the evening. The online event was attended by Principals and Teachers of participating schools including the co-founder of the event Mr Michael Rothenberg from Florida. The event was live on the facebook page of 100TPC.
