The playground and the corridors of The Cathedral and John Connon Infant School are filled with the chatter of the little children. The surroundings often add to the pleasantness with the chirping and whistling of birds and the rustling sound of tree leaves. A passer by cannot help but think about the loveliness of the Infant School years.

Children enter Infant School at a tender age of four and half with wonder in their eyes and questions on their minds. These are the most wonderful years of a child’s life. They exude freedom…. freedom of thought and expression. They are standing at a threshold of their lives. These are the foundation years and if the foundation is happy and well built the entire life is a strong structure.

We, at the Infant School, follow our vision of laying such a foundation by providing holistic education that enhances emotional, social, physical and cognitive growth of a child. Children learn through play way methods, games, puppet shows, projects, art and craft and audiovisual presentations. They also enjoy extra curricular activities such as Music, Dance, Yoga, Gym and Fit kids.

The Infant School Staff cares and nurtures these young minds by playing multiple roles that of a mother, friend, counsellor and an educator and prepares them for future challenges.
