Evolution of Music

East Meets West is a fund raiser fusion event hosted by the IBDP YR 12 students of The Cathedral and John Connon School.In 2016, the first batch of IBDP studentsplanned their CAS project as a concert, to explore the different genres of music from around the world through music and dance performances with the aim to provide a platform for underprivileged children with a passion to perform. After two years there is a switch and the concert is called, “Evolution of Music”.

This year it undertakes a different theme and the performances span over five decades exploring genres like blues, disco, hard rock, alternative rock, R&B and pop of today’s generation.

Students from our service learning centers, Salaam Balak Trust, Angel Express, Down to Earth, Happy Feet Home and Fusion Crew will perform with Cathedralites and the proceeds of the show is donated to our NGOs partners.
